Forum Colleagues Participate In Cross Country Marathon
This past Sunday 13 March 2011, 25 World Economic Forum colleagues and 13 Young Global Leaders and their spouses braved the icy and windy conditions of the 43rd Engadin Skimarathon and completed the 42 km run between Maloja and S-chanf with excellent spirit and sportsmanship.
The winner of this year's marathon was Remo Fischer, who completed the course in 1 hour and 39 minutes. Impressive! Jan Klawitter was first past the finish line from the Forum and completed the marathon in an amazing 2 hours 56 minutes. Congrats!
The Forum had one of the largest teams that participated in the Engadin Skimarathon – one of the biggest sporting events in Switzerland. This was the first time the Young Global Leaders joined the Forum team and it was a great success.
Matthias Lüfkens captured highlights from the Engadin Skimarathon and put together this short video. Enjoy!
