Participate in the World Economic Forum on Europe and Central Asia in Vienna

Facebook QuestionThe World Economic Forum on Europe and Central Asia opens in Vienna on Wednesday 8 June, bringing together more than 500 leaders from business, government, academia and civil society from over 67 nations. The general public can connect with the leaders and participate in the debates through a series of polls and questions on the Forum’s Facebook page.

The meeting held under the theme Expanding the Frontiers of Innovation will open the discussions to the wider public on the major social networks including YouTube, Twitter and Facebook. Over the next three days, we will post a series of questions on the Forum’s Facebook page addressing key topics at the meeting. Questions will include: How should the EU respond to the Arab Spring? What is the key to unlocking Europe and Central Asia’s innovation and growth potential?

The poll results and comments collected will be fed back into the relevant sessions, which you can also follow live on Livestream. The full webcast programme for the meeting is here. An abridged list of participants is available here and you can even contact selected participants via Twitter from the Twitter list.
