Participate in the Annual Meeting of the New Champions Online
From big ideas to little thoughts and from action to change the Annual Meeting of the New Champions brings together more than 1500 world leaders, thinkers and shapers. From September 14 to 16 you too can participate in the meeting held in Dalian, China, simply by connecting with the World Economic Forum online
The ‘Summer Davos’ will open its doors to the world in English on Facebook, Twitter and YouTube and in Chinese on Youku and Sina Weibo.
More than 20 participants have been invited to share their thought from Dalian here on the Forum Blog providing a behind the scenes glimpse into the ideas and outcomes of the meeting. The Forum is also microblogging from the meeting in English on Twitter and in Chinese on Sina’s Weibo.
Beijing blogger Gao Ming is this year’s Summer Davos Debates video competition winner and will guest report, blog and share his insights from the meeting. Gao Ming, 45, is a respected Chinese blogger. His videos have been watched more than 28 million times. You can follow his journey to Dalian and watch his participant interviews on the Summer Davos Debates channel on Youku.
The Forum will be livestreaming the main plenary sessions in English and Chinese starting Wednesday 14 September at 09:00am Beijing time (01:00 GMT). The videos will also be available on demand in English on YouTube and in Chinese on the Forum's Youku channel.
For media or public use picture highlights will be available free of charge on Flickr.
