Turning ideas into action
I am 27 years old and I am passionate about making things happen, turning ideas into actions and dreams into reality. I like to set high standards and persevere to achieve what sometimes seems unthinkable. This is the reason I founded Instituto de Pensamiento Estratégico Ágora A.C. – IPEA, (first Mexican think tank of young entrepreneurs) in 2008, to identify, train and connect young leaders with decision makers empowering them to become real agents of change. IPEA is a national catalyst and reference point in the generation of ideas and innovative strategies that lead to the solving of sensitive, complex problems. We encourage young people to be very active and influence public opinion, policy making and decision making in Mexico.
I like to meet great people who believe they can change the world. I am convinced that as much as we understand who we are and the power we have to make choices (that we are free to choose), we can contribute to change the world and make it a better place. Attending the World Economic Forum on Latin America 2012 is an extraordinary opportunity to meet leaders and entrepreneurs of all ages and backgrounds who are champions in their own countries. This is the best moment to share what we do and what our dreams are. This is the time to find common ground and work together. We must spread the Forum´s message to many others who are willing to learn and join on this great adventure of improving the state of the world. I look forward to learning and sharing as much as I can in order to translate this experience into actions and alliances that may have a powerful impact not only with Mexican youth but across the region.
