New guidelines from the World Health Organization warn against too much screen time for babies and toddlers if they are to grow up healthy.

Children should also sit less and play more, according to the research.

"Early childhood is a period of rapid development and a time when family lifestyle patterns can be adapted to boost health gains," says WHO Director-General Dr Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus.
