For one week during Davos 2020, the World Economic Forum will be partnering with the short video platform TikTok to beam your videos to the planet.

Why? As leaders of state and business meet in Davos in January 2020 to discuss inclusive societies, we want you to be part of the conversation.

The campaign is about celebrating what makes us different and why our voices need to be heard. We want anyone who’s ever been excluded on grounds of race, religion, gender, disability or sexual orientation to bravely express themselves through this campaign. And we want everyone else to show their support.

What is TikTok?

OK boomer, here goes: TikTok is an increasingly popular short-form video platform for creating and discovering fun and creative short videos. It is available in over 150 markets and in 75 different languages. Over 1 billion people have downloaded it worldwide and its total monthly usage (in minutes) exceeds Facebook, YouTube, Snapchat, Instagram and virtually all other major social media apps.

TikTok has created viral trends and internet celebrities around the world. Users can add music, text, filters and other special effects to create eye-catching videos.

Join our TikTok challenge

We’re celebrating your differences. Show us what makes you unique, how you cast off the labels, or what you’ve done to make the world a more tolerant place. One where no one is excluded because of their race, religion, gender, disability or sexual orientation. Your stories could make #allthedifference

Anyone can start posting to the #allthedifference hashtag now, and the official campaign will kick off on 21 January 2020 as the Annual Meeting of the World Economic Forum opens its doors.
