As part of the official programme to launch the UN Decade on Ecosystem Restoration 2021 – 2030, this high-level session will focus on the role and impact of business to drive forest landscape restoration. The session will be anchored in insights from the World Economic Forum Report on “Investing in Forests: the Business Case”, and feature senior corporate executives, investors and innovative ecopreneurs for a dialogue on the barriers and opportunities to scale private sector driven restoration. It will end with the launch of the latest 1t.org UpLink Innovation Challenge focused on the Amazon Basin and invite the audience to participate and join the growing #GenerationRestoration movement.
