1t.org - the trillion tree platform - launches in India

India has made commitments to restore 26 million hectares of deforested and degraded land and sequester an additional 2.5 to 3 billion tons of CO2 equivalent through increased forest and tree cover by 2030.
1t.org is launching its India platform to facilitate a multistakeholder action agenda to conserve and restore India's forest landscapes. Join to hear from leading public and private sector voices as well as ecopreneurs working on the ground on how public-private collaboration can help advance India’s goal.
This session will:
· showcase the importance and urgency of forest landscape restoration and how it ties into India’s national sustainable development goals and climate commitments
· highlight how corporates are mobilising for this national goal, and the opportunities to tie this to their ESG and sustainability goals
· showcase ecopreneurs implementing innovative solutions on the ground and announce the winners of the UpLink Trillion Trees: India Challenge.
