Around the world, a powerful wave of young changemakers is rising, demanding to be heard and making their mark on society. From spearheading social movements to pioneering innovative solutions, this young generation is redefining what it means to make a difference.

In a celebration of this youth-led revolution, the Global Shapers Annual Summit 2023 kicks off in Geneva, Switzerland from 16 - 18 June. The summit will bring together over 500 passionate changemakers from 150 countries, united in their commitment to accelerate values-based leadership and ignite social change.

The Summit is set to become a pivotal moment in the global youth movement for change. By bringing together passionate and driven Global Shapers from all corners of the world, the summit promises to amplify the impact of changemakers, foster collaboration, and generate tangible solutions to pressing global issues.

As the voices of the next generation are heard and acted upon, we can look forward to a more inclusive, innovative, and sustainable future for all.

More than 40 captivating sessions have been co-designed with Global Shapers. These sessions will feature a diverse range of speakers, including innovators, activists, artists, educators, and entrepreneurs, who will share their insights and experiences.

The sessions will revolve around four key objectives:

  • Developing Future Leaders
  • Fostering Intergeneration Dialogue
  • Launching Collaborative Initiatives
  • Amplifying Youth Voices

The Global Shapers Annual Summit 2023 goes beyond inspiration by providing practical solutions to global leadership and societal challenges. Experts from the Global Shapers community, as well as supporters and partners, will share best practices and innovative approaches. Together, they will explore strategies to combat climate change, accelerate reskilling initiatives, and foster responsible innovation.

Key sessions to look out for: All available here

Day 1: 17.00 - 18.30: We’ll be joined by members of the Schwab Foundation for Social Entrepreneurship. For over 25 years, the Schwab Foundation and the Global Shapers Community have recognized and supported the world's leading social innovators and youth changemakers to create a just, equitable and sustainable world for all. Together, we explore how can both communities can work together to accelerate positive change.

Day 2: 11.00 -18.30: Five hundred young leaders from 150 countries and territories around the world will explore what it means to be a responsible leader and take a step closer to achieving change by stepping into their authentic leadership approach. They will be joined by the World Economic Forum's President Børge Brende, Managing Directors Olivier Schwab and Saadia Zahidi, and Head of the Global Shapers Community Natalie Pierce, who will share their personal leadership journeys and explain how they contribute to the Forum’s mission to improve the state of the world.

Day 3: 12.30-15.30: On the last day of the summit, our Global Shapers will learn more about their community’s partnership with Accenture, including new initiatives and support mechanisms to accelerate collective impact worldwide. Join Debra McCormack (Accenture’s Global Board Effectiveness and Sustainability Lead) and members of the Global Shaper community live in studio for a discussion on current projects and collaboration.
