Angelos Chryssogelos

Academy Senior Fellow, Europe Programme

Angelos Chryssogelos holds a BA in Politics from the University of Athens (2004), an MA in International Relations and Diplomacy from Leiden University (2008), and a PhD in Political Science from the European University Institute in Florence (2012). He has worked, among others, for the Netherlands Institute for International Affairs Clingendael, the Martens Centre for European Studies, and the University of Limerick as lecturer in European politics. His academic publications include articles for European View, Southeast European and Black Sea Studies, and European Foreign Affairs Review; and book chapters for volumes published by Routledge and Nomos. In December 2014 he delivered a UACES Arena lecture in Brussels on the links between Russia and populist parties in the EU. His commentary has featured in reporting on European and Greek affairs in Bloomberg, L’ Echo and Naftemporiki.
