Anna was a founding member of the GBA in 2017 and served on the former Executive Board from 2017 to 2019. Anna was appointed Executive Director of the GBA during its transition in 2021 from its origins within the World Economic Forum to being established as an independent organization. Anna brings a wealth of leadership experience in human rights; international development; public-private and multi-stakeholder partnerships. In her prior role as Global Vice President, Corporate and Government Affairs with International Justice Mission (IJM), she led IJM's global strategy for engaging public and private sector actors to address modern slavery in global supply chains. In this capacity she served on the Steering Committee of the Responsible Labor Initiative; as Chair of the Markets Working Group for Delta 8.7; and member of the Coordinating Committee for ILO's REFLECT project. Prior to joining IJM in 2012, she worked in the international development sector designing and supporting implementation of post-conflict microfinance programs.
