Annalisa Prizzon is a Senior Research Fellow at the Overseas Development Institute (ODI) in London. She has widely published in peer-reviewed journals, edited books and research reports on financing development, aid and external debt. She has gained field experience in Sub-Saharan Africa, South East-Asia, Latin America and the Pacific.
Her main policy research projects analyse how national financing strategies in recipient countries can become more effective and how the architecture of multilateral development banks more efficient. She has lead (or has been part of) teams advising strategy departments of bilateral and multilateral development agencies.
Before joining ODI, Annalisa was an economist and policy analyst in academic institutions and international organisations (OECD and World Bank). She holds a PhD in Economics and Public Finance with a focus on external debt sustainability in low-income countries.
