Anne Flanagan

Anne Josephine is a globally-recognized expert in Data, Digital and Technology policy with more than a decade of experience at the frontier of international policy making. She has led the World Economic Forum's Responsible Data Ecosystems portfolio, working with businesses, governments, academics and civil society organizations to co-design policy frameworks that address the most intractable Data Policy issues of our time including cross-border data flows. Prior to joining the Forum, she worked in the Irish Government and the European Union on EU Digital Single Market policy. Anne holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Political Science from Trinity College Dublin, a Master of Arts in International Relations from Dublin City University, an Executive MBA from Trinity College Dublin and an Advanced Diploma in Data Protection Law from the Honorable Society of Kings Inns.
