Anne-Marie has a broad commercial practice with particular focus on issues in the technology, communications and media industries. She also advises on privacy related issues across all industries and is one of the leading lawyers in relation to privacy in Australia. Anne-Marie has been practising for over 22 years, having completed an Arts/Law degree at the Australian National University and an LLM at New York University. Anne-Marie is Global chair of the Baker & McKenzie Information Technology and Communications practice group as well as chair of the Australian Diversity & Flexibility Steering Group and is widely considered to be a leader in her field. She is listed as a Notable Practitioner in Chambers Global and Legal 500 and also features in Best Lawyers Australia, 2015 for Information Technology Law. Anne-Marie serves as one of Baker & McKenzie's Sydney pro bono partners. She has worked as a pro bono lawyer to the Victor Chang Cardiac Research Institute since 2003 and has also provided pro bono legal services to a number of other pro bono clients including the NSW Cancer Survivors Centre and to homeless youth referred by Father Chris Riley's Youth off the Streets.
