April is a business development specialist with a focus on strategic brand management and partnerships. She is passionate about helping emerging organizations create long-term value strategies and partnerships in their business industry.

April also manages and contributes to various social enterprises and remains committed to learning and finding new ways to help small businesses implement growth strategies that can lead to sustained growth as a social entrepreneur and angel investor via Bold Angel Fund - a sector agnostic syndicate fund that provides MSMEs with pre-seed and seed investments.

Within the Lagos Hub, she has (co) led previous roles such as Communications lead, Recruitment & Membership lead, and led a special project following the Ita Faji building collapse that raised funds to provide support for displaced persons.

She currently serves on the Impact Council with a mandate to co-create strategies to achieve impactful projects in the Global Shapers Community. Having previously served as Curator for the Lagos Hub (2020/2021).

She has also participated and spoken at various SHAPE events and activities within the community and has attended the World Economic Forum’s Annual Meeting of the New Champions in 2019 and trained as a Climate Reality Leader in Minneapolis, MN in 2019.
