Head, Enterprise Wireless Solutions Business Area, Ericsson

Åsa Tamsons is a member of Ericsson’s Executive Team, Senior Vice President and Head of Business Area Enterprise Wireless Solutions. Her team enables the connected transformation of enterprises through cellular connectivity and security solutions that are used by ~40 000 enterprises in the world as part of their digital transformation. While at Ericsson, her focus has been on creating and scaling strategic growth businesses that deliver long term profit and positive impact on people and our planet. In addition, she has also run group strategy, M&A and the IPR & Licensing portfolio at Ericsson.

Åsa joined Ericsson in 2018 from McKinsey & Company where she was a Partner. Her primary focus has been on high tech, software and telecommunication industries where she has led strategy, growth and commercial transformations with large global and fast growing companies around the world. She has worked with companies across the world and has been based out of Silicon Valley, Stockholm and Sao Paulo. Since the beginning of 2022, she is an Independent Board member of CNH Industrial, a global leader providing products and services to farmers and construction workers around the world.

Åsa has a strong passion for technology and innovations’ role in creating a more sustainable future. She is also a strong advocate for diversity and inclusion in leadership, business and the economy.

She holds a Master of Science in Business Administration from the Stockholm School of Economics.
