Before taking this role, Aytug was responsible for the World Economic Forum's engagement with the governments in South East Europe and key European Commissioners. Before joining the Forum, Aytug served as a commercial diplomat at the Embassy of Turkey in London and held various positions with the Ministry of Trade of Turkey. Aytug holds an MPA from Princeton School of Public and International Affairs, USA and a BA in International Relations from Ankara University, Turkey.
