How to use process intelligence and AI to rewire business for sustainable transformation
For AI to reach its full potential, it needs to speak the language of business, it needs to understand how work flows and it needs process intelligence.
Bastian Nominacher - Co-founder, Co-CEO at Celonis
Founded in 2011, Celonis is one of the fastest-growing software companies of all-time, with more than 3,000 employees across more than 20 offices globally.
Bastian, along with his co-founders Alex Rinke & Martin Klenk, were pioneers in bringing process mining out of academia and building a scalable tool that allowed even the largest companies in the world to benefit from process mining across systems and departments.
They successfully grew Celonis in the first five years without external funding, scaling rapidly across the globe ever since.
At Celonis, Basti is responsible for the European and Asian regions as well as for Finance, Operations, HR, Security and the overall business strategy. He is passionate about and committed to drive value for customers, and is also an advocate for the Celonis Ecosystem, which includes some of the world’s greatest IT platform providers.
Bastian and his co-founders were awarded the “Deutsche Zukunftspreis” by German Federal President Frank-Walter Steinmeier in 2019.

Tough economic conditions mean it's harder to meet financial objectives but businesses could unlock lost revenue by improving processes and process mining.
