Ben Waterson is a lecturer in transportation at the University of Southampton and a member of the Transportation Research Group.

The predominant theme throughout all his research is developing understanding how all the component parts of the transport system operate, behave and interact. To achieve this he frequently works in partnership with local and national government, and industrial and academic partners from across Europe.
