Bernd Heid is a Senior Partner in McKinsey's Cologne office. He is a member of the Leadership Team of McKinsey’s global Automotive Sector and the McKinsey Center for Future Mobility. Bernd leads the commercial vehicle activities of McKinsey globally. He studied mechanical engineering at the RWTH Aachen and the MIT in Cambridge, MA and earned a MBA degree from Kellogg School of Management in Chicago, IL. His consulting work has mainly been for automotive OEMs and ecosystem players on disruptions and trends in the field of future of mobility and transportation, alternative powertrain, hydrogen, battery value chain and autonomous driving.
