Beth Bovis’s impact during her career at Kearney has reached almost every corner of the firm. Her work as a consultant has spanned strategy, design and governance, operations, outsourcing, mergers and acquisitions, and transformational work. She has served on the firm’s board of directors and its senior leadership team, as leader of the firm’s Women’s Network. Today she serves as global lead of the firm’s Leadership, Change & Organization Practice, as well as the leader of the firm’s social impact initiatives.
Beth’s consulting expertise focuses on global business models, highly decentralized cultures, non-profits, and regulated industries. In 2014, Beth was recognized by Consulting magazine as one of the Top 25 Consultants and by the Girl Scouts of America of Greater New York as a Woman of Distinction.
Her roles as practice lead and head of the firm’s social impact initiatives are hardly opposites, Beth says. She believes that embracing and tapping into workforce diversity is one of the biggest potential sources of competitive advantage today.

Pollution created by single-use plastic items is a growing threat to the planet and economy. A system based on reuse would create new sources of value.
How can we create a world where differences are respected and honoured to the extent that they really don’t matter? We may need to stop dividing our efforts, writes Beth Bovis.
