The African tech ecosystem drastically grew in 2021 with capital investments hitting all-time highs and the emergence of many new tech unicorns.
Chisom Udemezue has experience working with public and private entities on issues of renewable energy and technology for sustainable development, and strategic work focused on using technology and business incubation to identify and provide business advisory support to ideation and early-stage and growth-stage businesses in the renewable energy sector. She conceptualizes programs and training that develop the capacity of the startups and supports them towards their next scale growth. She has led various projects that have identified and currently supports ideation-stage entrepreneurs. A clean energy advocate, she is also a GIZ certified solar PV installation alumni – having completed her training and getting certified in 2019. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka.
