Christophe Catoir

Global President, Pontoon; Global President and Member of the Executive Committee, Adecco

Christophe Catoir, born in France in 1972, has led Adecco as its global President since 2021, and Pontoon since 2024.
Christophe joined The Adecco Group in France in 1995 after his studies at the IÉSEG School of Management. Over the past 29 years, his career has progressed through various national, regional, and global positions of increasing responsibility.

Career Journey

Initially internal auditor, then administrative and financial manager, Christophe was appointed Regional Director for Adecco France (Lorraine region) in 1999. In 2005, he took responsibility for all permanent recruitment activities. He supported the launch of Experts, a brand dedicated to the recruitment of middle management executives, engineers, and technicians (since then renamed Spring), in order to reinforce the group’s position on this market. In 2009, Christophe was appointed operational General Director of Adecco France (South-East region) and managed a network of 350 branches and 1300 employees. At the same time, he led sales and marketing for Adecco France.
In 2012, Christophe progressed to Head of Global Professional Staffing in France, with responsibility for eight brands and 3,200 employees focused on executives’ recruitment, outsourcing and consulting. In September 2015, he was appointed Regional Head of France and became a member of the Executive Committee, The Adecco Group. In February 2019, he added Region Northern Europe to his responsibilities before becoming President, Adecco, in January 2021 and President, Pontoon, in September 2024.

Christophe is a Board member of GAN Global Apprenticeship Network, Geneva (CH), and Chairman of the Board of IÉSEG School of Management, Lille (F).

He is married, has 3 children, and lives in Zurich (CH) with his family.
