Diji Chandrasekharan Behr is a Senior Natural Resource Economist at the World Bank Group. She manages PROFOR and is engaged in Bank operations in East Asia-Pacific, Africa, and Europe and Central Asia regions. Her work focuses on adaptation to climate change, the economic and institutional dimensions of natural resource management, and small and medium-scale and community-based forest enterprises. Ms. Chandrasekharan holds a Master’s degree in Agriculture and Applied Economics from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a PhD in Natural Resource Management and Policy from Cornell University.
