Divya is a researcher at Stockholm Environment Institute at University of York. Her current research focus is to understand and model how air pollutants (tropospheric ozone) affects plant physiology and development thus influencing crop production. Her wider research interest is in investigating the interactions of plant-soil processes in agricultural systems under changing environmental conditions (climate and air quality). She has worked at Banaras Hindu University and the National Academy of Sciences, India, Center for Ecology and Hydrology, Bangor, UK and The Research Unit Sustainability and Global Change, Hamburg University, Germany.
