Przemek received his PhD from the University of Economics in Katowice, where he works as an associate professor. He has been a leader of four externally funded projects and since 2011 has been the national team leader of the Global Entrepreneurship Monitor project.
In 2018, he was awarded a Marie Skłodowska-Curie Fellowship grant by the European Commission, which he commenced at King’s Business School in September 2018.
Przemek’s research interests focus on positive psychology, positive organizational scholarship, the psychology of entrepreneurship, especially the well-being of entrepreneurs and their families, and positive approaches to leadership, including ethical, moral, authentic and servant leadership.
