Here's how artificial intelligence is improving medical imaging
New artificial intelligence technology called 'virtual native enhancement' is helping to slash the costs and time associated with medical imaging, and producing clearer images.
Dr Qiang Zhang received his Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Utah in 2005 and held a Research Assistant Professorship at the University of Utah in 2006. From 2006 to 2010, he was a research staff in the Osney Thermo-Fluids Laboratory at the University of Oxford (Rolls-Royce Heat Transfer and Aerodynamics University Technology Centre), where his work mainly focused on transonic turbine blade aero-thermo research. Dr. Zhang is currently a Reader at the City University of London, and also holds a professorship position at the University of Michigan & Shanghai Jiao Tong University Joint Institute.
