I'm a postdoctoral research fellow at the University of St Andrews’ School of Physics and Astronomy. I study star and planet formation on a variety of scales using numerical simulations, and I work on problems related to astrobiology and the Search for Extraterrestrial Intelligence (SETI). I also blog at Research the Headlines as a member of the Royal Society of Edinburgh's Young Academy of Scotland.
