Healthcare in Africa is improving – but more needs to be done
According to a survey across 36 African countries, citizens rank health as the second most important issue to be addressed.
Edem E. Selormey (PhD.) Edem is Field Operations Manager (Anglophone West, East Africa and North Africa). Edem has worked with Afrobarometer in various capacities since 1999. She is based at the Ghana Center of for Democratic Development in Accra, where she works as a Senior Research Fellow. She works closely with Afrobarometer’s project managers to plan and manage all fieldwork activities to ensure the quality and integrity of Afrobarometer surveys. She received a PhD in Development Studies from the University of Sussex, UK. Her interests include governance, social accountability, media and development, public service delivery and performance in sub-Sahara Africa
