Viruses aren't all bad. Here's why
Many of the human proteins or other molecules present in your cells and encoded in your DNA contain viruses.
My research looks at which bits of an infected cell are required for various viruses to replicate. I'm particularly interested in norovirus (winter vomitting disease) and have previously worked on coronaviruses, influenza and others. I am currently a postdoctoral scientist at the University of Cambridge.
