Professor Walker is Professor and Chair in the Department of Sociology at UCLA. He studies the mobilization and outcomes of business and social movement advocacy, with a particular focus on environmental and sustainability issues. He is a former fellow of the Center for Advanced Study in the Behavioral Sciences at Stanford and a former Robert Wood Johnson Foundation Scholar at the University of Michigan.
