President Obama's Council of Economic Advisors on the puzzle of US male labour force participation
Labour force participation among men ages 25-54 in the US has been falling for more than six decades.
Emma Rackstraw is currently a Research Economist at the Council of Economic Advisers. Her research areas include labour, education, and poverty policy.
In the fall, she will join the Abdul Latif Jameel Poverty Action Lab at MIT, where she will work on North American antipoverty program evaluation. She graduated magna cum laude from Wellesley College with honors in International Relations-Economics. Her undergraduate thesis received the Natalie Bolton Faculty Prize in International Economics.
