Based in Singapore, Eric Duflos works to deepen CGAP's engagement in East Asia and the Pacific. He has over 18 years of experience in the area of providing access to financial services for poor populations. Since he joined CGAP in 2003, he has focused his work on policy issues, aid effectiveness, and innovation. Duflos has several CGAP aid effectiveness initiatives such as the Country-Level Effectiveness and Accountability Reviews, and has led CGAP’s work on the role of government, national microfinance strategies, apexes, and East Asia. He has taught policy issues and microfinance at the Turin/Boulder course and atSciences-Po, Paris for several years.
