I co-founded Oceanus Conservation, a science-based non profit organization focusing in protecting and restoring coastal ecosystems through local engagement such as education, livelihood and incorporating innovative technology. I gained my International MSc in Marine Biodiversity and Conservation in Ghent University and a postgraduate in Observational Oceanography in Alfred-Wegner Institute, Germany.
I have more than a decade of experience ranging from locally-marine protected areas, mangrove conservation and management, capacity building, community-based conservation and marine education to youth and local schools.
I am also active in the international conventions such as the COP 26 (Glasgow) and UN Ocean Conference (Portugal) bringing voice for community-based conservation.
