We shouldn't underestimate the power of cultural products. They can change the world
Entertainment products became an ever-more pervasive presence during the pandemic – so maybe it's time we included their creators in international forums.
Gabriela is a Global Shaper from the São Paulo Hub, an internationalist, and an actress and artist. She is a Chevening Scholar and has an MA in International Relations from King’s College London, during which she focused on health, gender, and conflict. She has a Bachelor’s degree in international relations by ESPM-SP, and did an exchange programme at the Universität des Saarlandes in Germany to study World War II history. Gabriela was part of the official Brazilian delegation to the G20 Youth Summit in Washington D.C. in 2012, in which she was part of the economics committee. Her current interests include arts and culture, women and peacebuilding, women's rights, mental health, and technology and democracy.
