Geethanjali Nataraj

Visiting Fellow, Bruegel

Geethanjali Nataraj is a Visiting Fellow at Bruegel. She is an economist with more than 19 years of research experience in international trade issues and trade policy of India and other developing economies.

She is also a senior visiting fellow to Observer Research Foundation, New Delhi. She has carried out research on foreign direct investment issues, regional trading agreements, Infrastructure in developing economies and economies of Japan and China.

She has been a consultant to many international organizations, including DFID, JETRO and Australian National University, Canberra, and a visiting researcher to ADBI, and Policy Research Institute, Ministry of Finance, Tokyo and University of Antwerp. She was also a visiting faculty to Institute of Finance Management, Tanzania, Ministry of Foreign Trade, Cairo, Egypt and consultant to DFID India and IPE Global. She has completed an advanced course in WTO from the International Law development Organization (IDLO), Sydney. She has published in refereed national and international journals during her academic stint with reputed organizations such as the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT) and the National Council of Applied Economic Research (NCAER) as well as the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) all in New Delhi.
