His research interests are in consumption, saving and investment choices of households and economics of aging. Guglielmo Weber's research has been published in several journals, including American Economic Review, Econometrica, Review of Economic Studies, Journal of Political Economy, Journal of European Economic Association, Economic Journal, Journal of Human Resources, Journal of Financial and Quantitative Analysis and Journal of Economic Literature. He is currently member of the editorial board of The Journal of Pension Economics and Finance and of Aging Clinical and Experimental Research. He is country team leader for SHARE (Survey of Health, Aging and Retirement in Europe) and deputy director of SHARE-ERIC, the European Research Infrastructure Consortium that manages SHARE.
