Howard Elias is president of Dell Services and Digital, overseeing global support, deployment, consulting and education services, the Dell Digital organization and Virtustream. He is responsible for setting and driving strategy to enable the digital transformations of customers and Dell’s own operations.
Previously, Elias was president and chief operating officer of EMC Global Enterprise Services and served as EMC’s lead for the Dell and EMC integration, overseeing the value creation and combination of the largest technology merger in history.
Elias was a co-founder and served on the board of managers for the Virtual Computing Environment (VCE) Company and previously held leadership positions at Hewlett-Packard, Compaq, Digital, AST Research and Tandy Corporation.
Elias currently serves as chairman of TEGNA Inc., formerly Gannett Co., Inc., a media and digital business company.
