Hu Qin leads a team in our Beijing office that conducts cross-cutting research to explore opportunities for improving the environment in China while bringing global climate benefits. He is responsible for developing the strategies and approaches needed for the China team to fulfill EDF’s mission in China. He is instrumental in the collaboration between EDF, key research institutes affiliated under governments, and universities. He also acts as a coordinator of the China Energy Modeling Forum (CEMF), jointly established by EDF and Tsinghua University, which aims to enhance integrated modeling capacity to support China’s policy making.
