Jana Kunicová is a Senior Public Sector Specialist at the World Bank, working on improving public sector performance (service delivery; strategic planning; monitoring and evaluation), anti-corruption, and analyzing political economy in the Governance Global Practice in the Europe and Central Asia region. Since she joined the Bank in 2006, Jana has managed operations, developed strategies, and prepared analytical reports in a variety of settings: middle income countries (Ukraine, Albania, Caucasus, Turkey), low income fragile states (Tajikistan, Bosnia, Kosovo), EU accession countries (Western Balkans), and high income clients with reimbursable advisory services (Czech Republic). Jana holds a PhD in political economy from Yale University. She is a core member of the World Bank Political Economy Community of Practice.
