Jessica Shannon, based in Ghana, leads PwC’s Global Government & Public Services Practice, a team of approximately 12,000 professionals working around the world to support governments, multilateral organisations, and other public service entities. She also serves as the firm’s lead partner for the World Bank Group. Jessica has a long track record of working with governments and multilateral organisations in mature and developing markets to address complex societal challenges including corruption, pandemics, climate change, and the implementation of broadscale public sector reforms. She has been an ongoing thought partner and speaker across the multilateral community, speaking at high-level panels for the World Bank, United Nations, and Organisation of American States, and serving as a task force member for the T20 in Argentina. Jessica is published in the areas of resilience, anti-corruption, humanitarian response, change management, and digital transformation. Her passion for public service was solidified in the early stages of her career when she served as a US Peace Corps volunteer in Guyana. She has an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BS from the University of Minnesota.
