Joan R. Rosés is Professor and Deputy Head for Research of the Department of Economic History at the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE). He is editior of the European review of Economic History. His research interests comprises Historical Economic Geography, European economic history (19th and 20th centuries), long term economic growth and productivity, and labour markets.
