Joyce Wong is a Senior Economist in the Regional Analytics and Strategy Division of the IMF’s Middle East and Central Asia department. She previously worked as a desk economist on Argentina, Jamaica, and various countries in Central America in the IMF’s Western Hemisphere Department. She received her Ph.D. in Economics from New York University and her research interests include inequality, labor, and household life-cycle decisions.
