Julius Schulte

Data Scientist, Strategic Intelligence, World Economic Forum

As a data scientist at the World Economic Forum (WEF), Julius currently leads the organization's work on contextual intelligence. Previously, he led the research and analysis work of the Digital Economy and New Value Creation platform at the WEF.

Prior to joining the WEF, Julius worked for the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) as a Data Analyst, where he focused on machine learning algorithms for text classification and event extraction.

He has studied artificial intelligence and data science at the Dalle Molle Institute for Artificial Intelligence Research (IDSIA), Università della Svizzera italiana (USI) and ETH Zurich. He also holds a B.Sc. in International Economics and Middle Eastern Studies from the University of Tübingen and an MA in International Affairs from the Graduate Institute Geneva.
