Appointed SVP Sustainability & ESG of the Adecco Group in June 2018, Karin Reiter is responsible for driving an integrated approach to sustainability and shared value creation across the Group.
Karin is a senior impact- and stakeholder-oriented business professional who combines a legal background with many years of experience as social intrapreneur and managing director of a global foundation. From 2009 until 2016, she was Group Corporate Responsibility Manager at Zurich Insurance Group, supporting the development and advancement of the Group’s CR strategy, as well as Managing Director of Zurich’s charitable Z Zurich Foundation. Prior to this, she held different legal and compliance positions within Zurich’s international life business. After having left Zurich in mid-2016, Karin worked as independent consultant, utilizing the skills and expertise acquired over these years to support other corporations and non-profit organizations in achieving their own sustainability and strategic philanthropy related objectives.
Karin holds a master’s degree in law from the University of Zurich, a certificate of advanced studies in corporate responsibility from the University of Geneva, a certificate as Integrative Nutrition Health Coach from the IIN, and is a certified mental health first responder. She is a First Mover Fellow at The Aspen Institute’s Business and Society Program and a member of the Global Women Leaders community for strategic philanthropy.
