Kathy Sullivan is US Under Secretary of Commerce for Oceans and Atmosphere NOAA Administrator. She a former NASA astronaut. Prior to her appointment as Acting Administrator, Dr. Sullivan held the position of Assistant Secretary of Commerce for Environmental Observation and Prediction and Deputy Administrator, and also performed the duties of NOAA's Chief Scientist.
