Kenza M'Haimdat

Specialist, Middle East, North Africa and Operations, Global Shapers Community, World Economic Forum

As the Community Manager of the Global Shapers Community in the Middle East and North Africa, Kenza's main goal is to foster an entrepreneurial environment to empower youth-led movements to address pressing issues and be positive agents of change in their communities. She oversees the governance, impact, and growth of Hubs in the MENA region, and provides overall monitoring and guidance to ensure that the membership, events, and activities of each Hub remain consistent with the Community Charter and the mission of the World Economic Forum. Kenza also supports operations of the Global Shapers Community across the globe to facilitate the involvement of young leaders to shape a better future. She joined the Forum in February 2022 with the Global Shapers team, focusing on Community Growth and Engagement.

Her prior experiences embedded in her the responsibility of being proactive about the impact she wants to have in society, in a human-centered and dynamic way. As a global citizen having multidisciplinary interests and being eager to learn and adapt to different environments, Kenza is engaged to promote sustainability, intercultural dialogue, and social impact.

Kenza holds a degree in International Affairs from the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies in Geneva and completed her undergraduate studies at Wellesley College in the United States, with a double specialization in International Relations and Environmental Studies. She is fluent in French, Arabic, and English and has an intermediate fluency in Spanish.
