Kornel is a Head of Origination Poland at Statkraft, Europe's largest generator of renewable energy, and a Millennium Leadership Fellow at the Atlantic Council, a leading think tank on global affairs. With over a decade of experience in the energy and natural resources sector, he is passionate about contributing to a more sustainable future by accelerating Poland's energy transition.
He specializes in structuring and negotiating tailor-made green power supply contracts, developing energy strategies for industrial companies, managing regulatory affairs, trading electricity, natural gas and environmental products. He has also been an active social entrepreneur focused on education and civic engagement, co-founding and advising several NGOs and serving at the Chancellery of the President of the Republic of Poland. He holds a Master of Laws and double Bachelor's degrees from the University of Warsaw, and studied at Sciences Po Paris.
