Larry Taylor is a senior lecturer in the Department of Psychology. He earned a PhD at Erasmus University in Rotterdam before moving to Northumbria in 2009. Larry is primarily interested in embodied cognition, emotion, and improving education for abstract concepts (especially economics and mathematics). His primary contribution to the field has involved fleshing out the functional contribution of one's own action experience to understanding language.
