How zero-knowledge technology can enhance digital public infrastructure

Leena Im leads strategy and global payments policy at Aleo. Prior to Aleo, she was the Director of strategy and ops at Meta, where she also served as the Director for fintech policy. Before joining the private sector, she was at US Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, where she focused on emerging payments policy, consumer education, and behavioral economics. In this role, she was involved in the development of policies like the US Prepaid Card Rule and understanding credit card repayment behaviors. Before joining the CFPB, she worked on financial inclusion, education, and savings products in the US and abroad. She began her career as an educator in low-income communities where she saw the effects of unbanked and underbanked infrastructures. Leena was also a Fulbright Scholar in Indonesia and and received her B.A. in Political Science and Master in Public Policy from the University of California, Berkeley.
